Dan Pastore was honored with the 2017 Unsung Hero Award at the 2017 Fall Run Banquet. 

Dan was heavily involved with the Pennsylvania Steelhead Association, serving as vice president, a board member and as an active member of our organization. Dan was instrumental in assisting our association attaining incorporation as a 501 c3 by using both his professional direction and guidance.

Dan is widely respected in the Erie fishing community for his dedication to our sport.  

 He has given many hours of service to our organization as well as the SONS organization particularly in areas of professional legal advice to SONS in their determination to ensure angler access along Erie’s Bayfront.

Dan has also benefitted Erie Pennsylvania Sports fishing Association by hosting their tournaments and promoting fundraising for SONS, 3CU and the Pennsylvania Steelhead Association with donations of valuable gift certificates for fishing equipment.

Finally Dan is an avid fisherman and truly appreciates the values of sportsmanship engendered within our community.
