The third award recipient at the 2016 Fall Run Banquet was Rich Sherwin. Rich was given the "Unsung Hero Award".  His plaque read: "Rich was the person you never had to ask when looking for volunteers, regardless of he project. He was always there, especially when funds were required for a project. He beat the bushes until the financial goals were met."                                                                                          Rich also procured a generator from Field and Stream when they first came to Erie for use at 3-C-U raceways. He also was a driving force in getting Millcreek township to put in an access road for PFBC to put in Brood Stock Steelhead in Veterans Park.
